"I began seeing Ketna for a laundry list of health complaints, hoping that yoga therapy could provide some relief. Clearly and concisely, Ketna laid out my personalized plan for achieving more balance in my mind and body. With a combination of yoga, diet and breathing, my insomnia and indigestion have significantly impoved in only one week! I look forward to continuing my work with Ketna, and to see many more improvements in my overall wellbeing. Thank you Ketna!"

Ketna Shah

"I believe yoga to be a journey, not defined by time, goals or expectations.  As the spirit is willing, transformations happen naturally and one can begin the lifelong process of self-discovery.  At first, yoga may seem to be physical exercise, but at some point it becomes much, much more.  Becoming a yoga teacher not only gives me a tool to assist others in their journey, but inspires me to reach further."

Personalized Yoga Sessions and Yoga Therapy

Balance
There was a time when a Master of Yoga was someone you visited when you felt ill, suffered from back pain or had trouble sleeping.  Perhaps it was a matter of the mind. These sessions were one-on-one.  At 3 Om Yoga we honor the one-on one-tradition.  To be present AND deeply relaxed is a skill.  Yoga is a comprehensive system for balance and good health.  The one-on-one format is a profound way to begin your practice. Many of our students choose a combination of private sessions and classes.  See our memberships for programs that include private yoga sessions as part of membership.

What Issues and Goals Can Yoga Therapy and Personalized Yoga Sessions Address?

Deepen any aspect of your choice: alignment, pranayama or meditation.  Often one session can solve the difficulty you have with a pose.  Maybe it is time to master the pose of your dreams. Private sessions can assist with any goal you choose for your yoga practice.

Yoga Therapy and Private Yoga Sessions Can:

Solidify A Balanced Life

  • Take your practice to the next level
  • Increase your energy level
  • Learn Skills to manage your stress

How does it work?
In a one-on-one session you will explore diet, environment, lifestyle, body alignment and state-of-mind in the context of your health issue or goals.  Your yoga practitioner will prescribe a manageable recipe of breath work asana (yoga) and diet to bring your body back into balance.

Your First Session
Your first session will take 1-2 hours. The cost for each practitioner varies (please see below.)  Follow-up sessions of 45 minutes – 70 minutes can be scheduled as needed.
