Massage Therapy
Massage is one of the oldest healing arts: Chinese records dating back 3,000 years document its use; the ancient Hindus, Persians and Egyptians applied forms of massage for many ailments; and Hippocrates wrote papers recommending the use of rubbing and friction for joint and circulatory problems. As an accepted part of many physical rehabilitation programs, massage therapy has also proven beneficial for many chronic conditions, including low back pain, arthritis, bursitis, fatigue, high blood pressure, diabetes, immunity suppression, infertility, smoking cessation, depression, and more. And, as many millions will attest, massage also helps relieve the stress and tension of everyday living that can lead to disease and illness.

Thai Massage
The Only Thai Massage in Parker, Colorado
Thai massage is a very unique form of bodywork and simply one of the best. Dressed in loose clothing, you
will lie down, completely surrendering your bodyweight. The therapist begins at your feet, working up the body
releasing all tension and stress.
Swedish Massage
A stress-relieving, whole body massage using palm pressure and slow, long strokes gliding in horizontal directions to relieve muscle tension and promote relaxation.
Deep Tissue
This technique is more direct and isolated using vertical, pin-pointed pressure to eliminate toxins and congestion from deeper layers of muscle tissue.
Chronic patterns of stress and traumatized muscles will be found, worked on and released.
Sports Massage
Especially suited for athletes to minimize physical stresses on the body and build healthy tissues. This style of massage purges lactic acid and loosens muscles while increasing flexibility to improve athletic performance.
Prenatal Massage
Pamper yourself and your unborn baby with the unique and supportive techniques of prenatal massage. This treatment :
- Offers tranquil relaxation and stress reduction.
- Generates relief from muscle cramps, spasms, and myofascial pain, especially in the lower back, neck, hips, and legs.
- Increases blood and lymph circulation, which can reduce swelling.
- Reduces stress on weight-bearing joints.

- Enhances the pliability of skin and underlying tissues.

Couples Massage
Couples massage is one of the most popular treatments in massage. Two people are massaged in the same room, at the same time, by two different therapists. It can be a husband and wife, girlfriend and boyfriend, same-sex partners, even moms and daughter, or best friends.
As for couples massage etiquette, it's fine to talk to each other through the massage if you want, or be quiet the whole time. It's really up to you.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese technique. Translated it means “spiritually guided healing energy”. Reiki promotes healing-body, mind, and spirit. One of its many uses is for stress reduction, and relaxation. It is administered by light touch and is based on the idea that "life force energy" flows through us and is what keeps us alive. When life force energy is high, it is easy to feel happy, healthy and capable. A treatment feels like a glowing wave of motion that flows through and around you.
Reiki is a safe, natural method of spiritual healing that also works well with all other medical and therapeutic techniques. A Reiki treatment helps relieve side effects and promote recovery. It is my wish that your life be filled with happiness and love. It will be my honor to be part of your journey to increased wellbeing.
Peace and joy, Jenni Knighton
Jenni is a Reiki Master Teacher through the International Center for Reiki Training. She is also a member of the International Association for Reiki Professionals. |
