3 OM YOGA is Parker's finest yoga studio offering highly educated and passionate teachers. 3 OM YOGA offers many services. We pride ourselves on the traditional form of the private student teacher yoga session. We offer personalized private yoga sessions that range from Yoga Therapy, which specifically targets certain health issues, to one-on-one sessions that take you deep into Yoga’s benefits of strength, flexibility, a pain free body, and deep relaxation. We also have a large selection of daily classes in a variety of styles. 3 OM YOGA provides massage therapy and energy work (Reiki) by appointment.
Renee Tormey
Cherie Renee Tormey is the Owner of 3 OM YOGA. Ms. Tormey has worn many hats at 3 OM Yoga as she and her partners have morphed what began as High Planes Yoga into, the studio they felt best served Parker and the surrounding community.
Ms. Tormey formally began teaching yoga in 2000. Having trained in both the East and West in many traditions including Hatha, Iyengar, Bikram, Ashtanga and Anusara, Ms. Tormey's heart-centered style focuses on the whole being; mind, body and self. Her style is challenging yet inviting. Due to her eclectic training, her classes are unique and draw from the many approaches she has trained in coupled with her own distinctive style.
Ms. Tormey's passion for yoga has led her to study under great influences both inside and outside the U.S. In 2002, Ms. Tormey traveled to India to experience yoga from its birthplace. “I traveled to India, Thailand and Nepal for many reasons; a big reason was to study yoga from where it originated even more importantly though was to further my daughter’s education both socially and spiritually. At age 35 and 12 we traveled Asia for 10 months, a very satisfying adventure. We thought we might never go home. And then I guess we had enough cold showers.” Ms. Tormey completed a formal 30-day, 24/7 residential program of study at University/Ashram. In Mysore, India, Ms. Tormey studied with BNS Iyengar and Sheshadre in the Ashtanga tradition. In 2004 she gratefully came across the Anusara system of yoga, ‘it saved my knees” and is qualified to label herself Anusara inspired.

Inheriting High Planes Yoga the way I did was truly a gift; the studio morphed into 3 Om Yoga and the evolution continues. It has been a bit like dancing with a partner blind folded and together we uncovered the moves inspired by the music. Our primary mission is to be impeccable at the instruction and science of yoga, true to its purpose and equally as important to serve the people who walk through the door.
I teach many styles but my favorite is to teach a challenging, sweaty joyful vinyasana yoga class. Vinyasana is Sanskrit for flow and this we will do. We will ride the breath like Arjuna rides his chariot, stopping only at the heart to discern her true desires. We will build strength, flexibility, boldness of spirit and serenity of mind.
